Teaching Assistant: Pre-school, Primary and Secondary Education

Interns at all levels of Spanish language ability can intern in local schools with students aged three to 18 years. Schools are bilingual and many classes are held in English. Interns start by observing classes, then gradually begin to assist instructors. Interns main task is enhancing local students' immersion into English by speaking in class and providing support, with the goal of improving students' listening and speaking skills. Depending on the experience and approval, instructors may allow interns to organize activities or teach a class by themselves.
