Students will learn concepts and theories (e.g. claims, claimsmakers, discourse coalitions, etc.) through the reading of classic journal articles, their presentation and discussion, and the Professor's feedback and lecture.
In the second part of the course (from week 7 to week 11), students will use previous concepts and theories to describe and explain the social construction and the career of a public problem and its policy solution. They will learn how to use data collection and analysis methods through the reading of methodological texts and the Professor's guidelines and feedback.
