DESCRIPTION
Students should emerge from the course with (1) awareness of a range of theoretical notions about criminal victimization and it's consequences; (2) awareness of different ways of victimological research methods (descriptive, correlational and experimental) and understanding of their weaknesses and strengths; (3) the ability to reflect on various theoretical perspectives on victimization and be able to present and visualize them; (4) the ability to conduct victimological research and present results; and (5) excitement about victimology, both theoretically and empirically.
