DESCRIPTION
The student will learn how to translate a research question into a laboratory experiment. Literature about respiration will be studied, and based on that literature the student will phrase his/her own research question and design an adequate experiment to answer that question. The experiment will be executed and the collected data will be discussed with peers and with an assistant. Findings will be presented orally and in a written report. A small number of lectures and tutorials will provide the student with the required theoretical knowledge and mathematical/computer skills.
