DESCRIPTION
This course allows students to study models that are relevant to a particular domain within Artificial Intelligence. Working in teams, student will develop an intelligent application using Matlab-L2 to provide support for addressing problems within the selected domain.
In addition to using the dynamical modelling techniques learned in Integrative Modelling, the student will learn to develop, design and implement adaptive parameter models. These models are coupled in the project's intelligent application to data coming from actual sensors that are developed using an Arduino. The goal of the project is to have the intelligent application 'learn' to give tangible support to the human user of the application.
Contact hours listed under a course description may vary due to the combination of lecture-based and independent work required for each course therefore, CEA's recommended credits are based on the ECTS credits assigned by VU Amsterdam. 1 ECTS equals 28 contact hours assigned by VU Amsterdam.
