DESCRIPTION

This course will focus on the ever-changingnature of the global hotelindustryand its product diversity from budget establishmentsto luxury hotels. The aim of the course is to giveacademic,as well as practicalknowledge in applying management and marketing techniquesthat ensure the success of both the business entity and itsmanagers, therefore it benefits not only tourism andhotel managementstudents, but also business and marketing pupils. The course will provide an overview and discussion of the latestmanagementapproaches, including sales and marketing and event management venues applied in the accommodation sectorprior to and during Covid19. The course will underline the importance of profit maximization through strategicplanningin today?s economically challenging environment, while we will alsofocus on sustainable accommodationdevelopment to ensure the long-termprosperity of the hotel industry.
