DESCRIPTION
In this?course, students will use a variety of?design?software to organize, and manage a?web?site. They will learn about different approaches of how a website is built. Course content includes creating a variety of graphic elements including video, animations, rollover effects, backgrounds, and page images. This course is an introduction to basic web design principles which includes familiarization of planning, designing a web site. It also introduces the concepts, skills and toolsets required to understand and apply user-focus design for the Web which will enable students to create a basic website that employs the most current web authoring standards. The instructor will emphasize both theory and practice using lectures, seminars, workshops and formative & summative assessment.
