DESCRIPTION
This course will follow movements in British poetry from the Tudor period to the current day. The focus of the class is the development of culture in the British Isles and how that culture has been reflected in the work of poets from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Island. The course will also look at work of immigrants from the former colonies currently living and writing verse in the UK.
