DESCRIPTION
The course will deal with the entire period of European Contemporary History (1789 - 1989), but with a particular attention to the most important turning points in the Twentieth Century, between the First World War and the End of the Cold War. Il will consider first of all the problems of international politics of that period, but dedicates special attention also to the evolution of ideologies and political systems in the most relevant European countries.
