DESCRIPTION
This module considers the relationship between Heritage & Tourism within the changing leisure environment. It's focus is to provide students with an understanding of how theoretical issues of Heritage can be translated into practice for consumption. The module aims to introduce the main issues and concepts relating to Heritage Tourism by providing a critical understanding of the various approaches to 'Heritage' and their cultural and political consequences. It explains the nature and processes of heritage management.
