DESCRIPTION
The module looks at political structures and processes in Europe in a comparative perspective. It aims to examine the factors that explain the continuity and stability of government in Europe as well as the changes that impact upon it. The module includes an analysis of decision making within the political process. The focus is both on the politics of individual nation states in Western Europe and the politics of the European Union.
