DESCRIPTION
The Macroeconomics course in the second year of the Bachelor degree programme is a continuation of the first-year economics courses (main schools of thought, history and modern-day issues). This course goes a step further in its investigation of economic mechanisms and the use of economic reasoning by employing new tools. The environment and intellectual references remain the same; the only difference is the approach.
The course will draw on current economic news stories. It will endeavour to present these current events in an unbiased manner, allowing students to form their own opinions.
