DESCRIPTION
Having acquired intermediate-level competency in general French, you are now ready to delve into thematic study of the language.
In this course you will study, analyze, and respond to various scenarios related to the business world: finding a prospective employer, applying for a job, and carrying out basic tasks on the job. Beyond these rote tasks you will also learn about the business environment in France and compare it to that of the United States. Finally you will have the opportunity to interact with business and economic professionals in order to practice your French in situ.
Students completing this course successfully will position themselves to take an examination that, if done successfully, will confer a certificate of mastery, at this level, for working in the business world.
