DESCRIPTION

This course has been designed for students who are independent users of the Spanish language. The course aims to develop students? knowledge and skills at the high-intermediate level (B2), according to the Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR). The purpose of this course is to help students understand and use oral and written discourse through the study of a series of cultural topics: from ecological issues to social and political concerns; from anthropology to art history; and from business and finance to health and welfare. They will also develop cognitive skills to improve their performance at the oral and written level. By the end of the course, they should also be able to converse, read and write about cultural issues related to the Hispanic world.
