DESCRIPTION

In this course Political Science, Sociology and Economy are mixed in order to study and analyze changes in Spain since 1978 by comparing them with other countries (United States, EU). This course analyzes the Spanish political system?s main characteristics and its connection with the current Spanish society. Debates will be also included in the course (i/e: the political system facets as institutions, the State structure, political parties, trade unions and elections in Spain). Political culture, participation and electoral behavior will be also analyzed as they are a key to understand its connection with political power and the new Spanish democracy.
