DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for the students who are able to converse with ease and con?dence when dealing with the routine tasks and social situations of the Intermediate level. By taking this course, students can handle successfully and with relative ease the linguistic challenges presented by a complication or unexpected turn of events that occurs within the context of a routine situation or communicative task with which they are otherwise familiar. A variety of topics will be covered in this course, like travel, apply for a job, rent a apartment, education, etc. which may help students understand more about Chinese culture and society while learning the language. Authentic materials will be used in class from time to time. Communication and spoken tasks will be given both in and out of class to create opportunities for students to strengthen ability of applying Chinese flexibly.
