DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for the students who have grasp basic sentence pattern and the vocabulary of 800 to 1000. By taking this course, students will be able to use Chinese on more wide range of topic and express their thoughts and communicate with native speakers fluently. A variety of topics will be covered in this course, like date, writing, travel, renting a house, environmental protection, Chinese education, idioms, etc., which may help students understand more about Chinese culture and society while learning the language. Authentic materials will be used in class from time to time. Role play tasks will be given both in and out of class to create opportunities for students to use the language in real life situation, and make their own comments on some unique Chinese phenomenon.
