DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for the foreign students of elementary Chinese who have already know 800 common words. By taking this course, students will get an improvement of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills and reach HSK 4 language proficiency. Meanwhile, students can complete the daily communication with local people. A variety of topics will be covered in this course, such as customs, social culture, education, history, idioms, myths and legends, life philosophy, etc., which may help students understand more about Chinese culture and society while learning the language. Students will also be provided diversified complementary reading materials, audio materials, video materials and supplementary exercises, from which they could get a lot. Exploration, discussions, report, games, activities, language practice and tasks will be given both in and out of class to create opportunities for students to enhance language comprehensive ability and Cross-cultural communication competence.
