DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for elementary students. By taking this course, students will be able to use more accurate expressions to communicate with native speakers in daily life under help of development of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. A variety of topics will be covered in this course, like buying foods, making an appointment, inviting people, describing stuffs, talking about the weather, raising a requirement, etc., which may help students understand more about Chinese culture and society while learning the language. In addition, authentic materials will be used in class from time to time. Tasks will be given both in and out of class to create opportunities for students to get a brief understanding of Chinese culture and use the language in real life situation.
