DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for beginner students. By taking this course, students will master pronunciation of Chinese, learn radicals and core characters, understand basic grammars and structures. A variety of topics will be covered in this course, like job, food, time, date, hobby, weather, etc., which may help students understand more about Chinese culture and society while learning the language. Authentic materials will be used in class from time to time. Communication and reading tasks will be given both in and out of class to create opportunities for students to use Chinese language in survival content.
