DESCRIPTION

"Building Construction and Industrialized Construction" is an elective subject from the seventh semester of the Undergraduate Program in Civil Engineering. This subject is part of the Route 1 Elective Subjects ("Public Works"). In order to reach a satisfactory level of achievement it is recommended that the students are already proficient with the following competences:
- Structural analysis of both statically determinate and indeterminate frames.
- Design of steel structures and reinforced concrete structures.
- Design of foundation structures and retaining walls.
- Proficiency with the application of the Spanish and European standards for actions in buildings, steel structures and reinforced concrete structures.

Course will consist of 60hrs of in class work and 90 hrs of independent work outside the classroom.
