DESCRIPTION

The course "Chemistry for Civil Engineering" is a subject named as "basic formation" that is tougth during the firts semester of the Civil Engineering Degree. As every subject in the first semester there is no pre-requisite for this course.

The course is divided in three main activities. Theory lessons, group tutorship and laboratory practice. All the tasks proposed are focused to give the students a basic scietific-technical background, that would be useful and necessary for the success in the rest of the courses of the degree, since in this subject the student will get the tools necessary for the understanding of highly relevant issues in the field of the Civil Engineering.

Course will consist of 60 hrs of in class work and 90 hrs of independent work outside the classroom.

Course includes a lab component.
