DESCRIPTION

The aim of this course is for students to become acquainted with works of visual art and culture that have influenced English literature and Anglo-Saxon society and culture. The subject is dedicated to the study of literature and art from the eighteenth century to the present day, through the critical analysis of artistic works and literary texts corresponding to that period.

The course also aims to explore the practical application of the analysis of the relationship between literary and artistic visual texts in the field of teaching English language and literature and provide tools to analyze the role of literature and visual and artistic culture in English.

Course will consist of 60 hrs of in class work and 90 hrs of independent work outside the classroom.
