DESCRIPTION

The main areas for the professional development of graduates in labor relations and human resources, according to current research are as follows:
1) Expert on labor relations,
2) Human resource manager/ department employee,
3) Labor market manager and mediator: employment agent, local development agent,
4) Prevention of occupational hazards,
5) Public employee,
6) Labor auditing.

This subject focuses in developing effective competences for the second and third of the above listed profiles, since it delivers the knowledge and skills needed to work in the area of human resource management. This subject is actually divided into two semesters: the first part is taught in the second year and the other semester is part of the third year. A basic knowledge of fundamentals of business management, work organization and methods, psychology and labor law is required.

Course will consist of 60hrs of in class work and 90 hrs of independent work outside the classroom.
