DESCRIPTION
Students will develop both an aesthetic understanding of the form of installation art and it?s application to important environmental issues of our time, as well as the historical precedents leading up to it. There will be weekly experiments in visual creativity, critical thought, and research techniques for the artist. We will explore the larger context of a visual vocabulary in a changing world outside of the traditional museum and gallery structures.
