DESCRIPTION
The course focuses on providing students with a basic understanding of contract law in the United Kingdom (and similar common law jurisdictions). The main course objective is to understand the rules and principles applicable to the formation of a contract, to the regulation of the terms of a contract and remedies for breach, based on the common law. The course is based on the common law, relevant examples will be given from the law of England other common law jurisdictions such as the USA. This introductory course is relevant for students specializing not only in law, but also in business and economics.
