Elementary French Level 1

The Elementary French class is divided into 3 levels, 1, 2, & 3. Your exact level will be determined upon completion of your placement test. This course is designed to help students acquire a good basic vocabulary and an understanding of basic grammatical structures. Students will practice expressing themselves in daily situations. Please note, CEA CAPA students are entitled to take up to 16 credits as part of their semester program price. Students may enroll for additional credits for a supplemental fee. **The Institut Catholique de Paris utilizes a 60-minute contact hour whereas the United States higher education system utilizes a 50-minute contact hour. Recommended U.S. credits listed on CEA CAPA's website reflect a conversion of these contact hours. Transcripts will include the number of hours per week and the weeks in the semester, so US colleges/universities may calculate the appropriate number of US credits they choose to award their students. **
