DESCRIPTION
Students in this course will focus most of their time on improving oral fluency, but will also work tenses and the intricacies of written composition. The course includes an in-depth study of the French language through tenses, moods, syntax and use of language types (informal, colloquial, and refined). It also stresses structural exercises in vocabulary, grammar, composition and textual analysis. Students will focus specifically on verb tenses, along with correct usage of French nouns and conjugations. Language laboratory sessions are organized if needed. Students will spend an average of 6 hours a week perfecting their written skills and 2 hours a week on oral exercises.
