DESCRIPTION

The objective of the course is to familiarize students with the basics and specifics of performance management in financial institutions and fintech companies. The most important topics of banks'
operation, strategic and financial management, and current challenges will be presented. Turbulences of the past (2008 financial crisis, COVID-19 etc.) and present will be discussed and their impact on the financial sector. Starting from the strategy level and the competitive environment, the course goes through the most important areas of banking operation, covering also the regulatory point of view.
