DESCRIPTION
The course will provide students with the assimilation of methods and strategies for solving problems related to thermodynamics, general mechanics, electric field, electric current and semiconductors. The last two points will be deeper studied en other subjects of the degree. The skills taught will allow the students to know and assimilate the concepts related to Engineering in general, and particularly to Telecommunication Engineering.The course consists of different activities: theoretical lectures, exercise lectures and laboratory experiences. For a successful achievement of the objectives of the course, students will have to work individually or in groups in every one of the activities. The theoretical lectures and the exercise lectures will take place in the classroom and laboratory experiences will take place in the Physics Laboratory on the first floor of EPS I.
Course will consist of 60 hrs of in class work and 90 hrs of independent work outside the classroom.
Course includes a lab component.
