DESCRIPTION
This course provides students with an intuitive and conceptual understanding of finance. It aims to introduce students to the logic that drives finance so that they will appreciate the interrelationships of interest rates, risk and return, and their influence on corporate financial decisions. Utilising the theory and analytical tools presented in the course, students should thus be able to understand and evaluate events in the financial world.
This course cannot be taken concurrently with FIN351 Corporate Finance.
