The course discusses the basic concepts of relational database management systems and the necessary practical knowledge, laying the foundations for confident data modelling, storage and use. The course also describes the basics of relational data modelling, the tools and steps of normalization, which will enable students to design, normalize, and implement a database suitable for a given business problem in a relational
