DESCRIPTION

This course offers a high-level overview of the infinite possibilities available to students who seek to use the web technologies and are keen to learn how web pages are designed and created. It will include and overview of the basic ideology, technologies, and principles of web design and development. The students will have hands-on approach to learning how to create business requirement documents and how to communicate with technical professionals, and as well use and recognize the basic frameworks of web design and development. Topics which will covered include security basics, web terminology, and basic tools to create different professional and personal web modules. Students will learn as well how to critically evaluate website quality; learn how to create and maintain quality web pages; how to use web search keywords, learn about web design standards and theories, and their importance.
