DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to a new way of thinking called, ?Design thinking?. This way of thinking can contribute highly to the competitive advantage of many successful businesses and is a result of current trends in business thinking worldwide. Students will be introduced to companies like Apple and Procter & Gamble which have been using this approach to keep their innovative edge and ensure their products remain desired. Current case studies will be discussed and original problem solving ideas practiced. The step-by-step process of design thinking will be applied to individual projects.
