Students integrate current literature from select databases to analyze industry-specific managerial distinctives of the healthcare sector. Active learning strategies guide students to investigate recent international initiatives that highlight the potential contribution of non-medical managerial talent to enhance productivity, improve competitive advantage and better address societal needs in the dynamic global health environment.
