DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for elementary Chinese language learners who have learned a few basic Chinese before. By taking this course, students will be able to use simple expressions to communicate with native speakers in daily life and understand basic grammar and structures in Chinese in a collaborative learning environment. Authentic materials will be used in class from time to time. A variety of topics are covered to help students understand more about Chinese culture and society while learning the language. Tasks will be given both in and out of class to create opportunities for students to use the language in real life situation.
