DESCRIPTION
This course will allow students the opportunity to understand how life in a modern society can adversely affect the environment and what are the main challenges for change. The underlying themes include assessing the importance and interaction of laws at the national and global level, the interaction of societies, cultures and their respective environments and whether technology is the answer to our environmental dilemmas. At the end of the course a student should be equipped to confidently take a critical approach to current and future issues and tensions.
