DESCRIPTION
This course gives students an overall introduction to the business environment in the Middle East and Africa. Students will learn about the opportunities in MEA markets and the mechanisms for selecting targets, business channels and decide on market entry models; how B2B and B2C business environments shall be managed in keeping with the cultural characteristics of these regions. They will hear from real cases and companies doing business in these markets, in terms of a range of aspects, including marketing, finance, legal, logistics and operations.
Note, this course is an ESCI elective. In other words, it is an integrated course with Spanish students and the weekly schedule follows the Spanish university system, which means classes may be held on Fridays.
