DESCRIPTION

Unsolved societal challenges are an untapped source of new business opportunities. In this course, you will learn through first-hand experience how to become an empowered and socially-minded entrepreneur by developing your own business that combines economic and social goals. Building on the fundamentals of the entrepreneurial mindset acquired from IBA Lab I, this course will further underscore that socially-minded entrepreneurs rarely operate as individual ?lone wolves,? but rather are reflective practitioners who skilfully navigate and leverage network and ecosystem relationships to effect systemic change.

Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) awards credits based on the ECTS system. Contact hours listed under a course description may vary due to the combination of lecture-based and independent work required for each course therefore, CEA's recommended credits are based on the ECTS credits assigned by VU Amsterdam. 1 ECTS equals 28 contact hours assigned by VU Amsterdam.
