- coordinate systems and changes of basis;
- eigenvalues and eigenvectors;
- diagonalisation of matrices;
- LU and QR factorisations of a matrix;
- inner product, length, orthogonality;
- orthogonal projections, method of least squares;
- symmetric matrices and their orthogonal diagonalisation;
- quadratic forms;
- singular value decomposition of a matrix
