DESCRIPTION
The student will have to read the assigned literature for this course and participate in assignments intended to deepen the reflection on this literature. Crucial questions will be dealt with in class, such as the synoptic problem (how do Matthew, Mark, and Luke relate to each other?), the authorship of the Pauline epistles (seven undisputed letters vs six disputed letters), the first principles of textual criticism, and the formation of the Christian canon.
