DESCRIPTION
This course is the follow-up of Research Questions in Bioinformatics. You will get to choose one of the research topics of our group to study. In the process, you will get a chance to interview a researcher about a scientific publication. You will learn how we conduct research. Finally, you will get to explain the chosen topic in a popular article and in a presentation.
Research within Bioinformatics focuses on developing (computational) methods to understand biological experiments, and to predict biological function. During this project, you will discover why Bioinformatics is of great importance for (medical) research.
Course includes a lab component.
