DESCRIPTION
This course is divided into 28 topics that will cover the artistic movements that influenced European art during the 20th century. Painting, architecture, and sculpture, as well as contemporary art styles: modernism, impressionism, cubism, the surrealists, pop-art, and neo-realism, will be discussed. Students will learn to critique and examine different examples and forms of art.
Lectures will be complemented by slides and videos.
