DESCRIPTION

To gain a thorough understanding of Andalusian art, this course takes the student on a journey through Islamic art and architecture, Christian and Mudéjar architecture, Renaissance art and sculpture and painting, and Baroque art. Students will learn about the architectural works of Francisco Hurtado and the Figuroas, paintings of Velázquez, Alonso Cano, Murillo, and Zurbarán, and the sculptures of Juan de Mesa, and more.
