CEA Study Abroad is proud to host an annual Advisor Workshop. We use this workshop to focus on university advisors and coordinators for custom and faculty-led programs! On behalf of the Advisor Workshop planning committee, we invite you to nominate yourself or someone from your team to join us and and your colleagues from across the country in this exciting learning opportunity.

Developed with your professional growth in mind, the Custom & Faculty-Led Advisor Workshop will include CEA information and resources, as well as topics relevant to this niche within education abroad. Sessions will be interactive and discussion-based, and may include the following topics:

  • Getting to know CEA's custom program support
  • On your campuses: models, successes, and challenges
  • Aligning student learning outcomes and program models
  • Best practices in working with faculty
  • Beyond short-term faculty-led: group programs, global classrooms, and FYE
  • Voices from CEA onsite and faculty partners

Previous attendee Michael Saenz from the University of Tennessee says that, "Overall, I feel the workshop was very beneficial, personally and professionally. I can't thank the CEA staff enough for their genuine hospitality and generosity during our time in Phoenix. These workshops are always a gentle reminder of why I love international education. They give us an opportunity to come together to share best practices and grow professionally."

We would love to continue building upon our valued partnership. Please feel free to email Tricia Andrews or contact her at 480.375.2724 with any questions you may have.
