Please note some internship abroad placements may need candidates to have completed upper-level courses in the respective area, possess specific set of skills, and/or be capable of demonstrating knowledge. Here is a sample of what veterinary medicine global internships abroad can entail.

Sample Position Description

Discover the field of Veterinary Medicine, where the focus is on safeguarding the health and well-being of animals across various settings. Some duties may include but are not limited to:

1. Shadowing Veterinary Consultations: Observe veterinary consultations, taking notes on diagnostic techniques and treatment plans while ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded and organized.

2. Organizing Medical Records: Contribute to the organization of veterinary medical records by filing patient charts, updating records, and ensuring accurate documentation of treatments and diagnoses.

3. Coordinating Appointment Schedules: Support the scheduling of veterinary appointments by managing calendars, confirming appointments with pet owners, and preparing necessary paperwork.

4. Participating in Inventory Management: Aid in inventory management by tracking supplies, ordering necessary medications, and organizing veterinary tools and equipment.

5. Assisting with Client Communication: Engage in client communication efforts by preparing follow-up emails, answering basic inquiries, and providing pet owners with educational materials.
