Why did you choose to study/intern abroad?
I love hearing, learning, and understanding different voices from various cultures and traditions. In consideration for a future career possibly in the realm of international affairs, participating in a global internship is critical for me to form a global perspective and better understand the world.

Why did you choose your study/intern city?
I have a great old friend currently studying at Sydney University, and we have a lot of conversations on college life, cultural experiences, and civil involvement in Sydney. Impressed by what she said, I developed an interest in Australia's society, which prompted me to intern there.

What are you most looking forward to during your abroad experience?
Cultural understanding, language learning, and critical thinking skills are top priorities for me to experience and improve upon. Then, I can return back to my campus with greater awareness of intercultural inclusiveness, understanding, and appreciation.

Fun Fact (hobbies, interests, accomplishment, etc.)?
I was admitted to the University of California San Diego in 2019, and am an international student from China.
