Veronica Gawin (she/her), a Strategic Communication major at the University of Missouri-Columbia, chose to spend a summer studying and interning in London to expand her cultural competence and life experience. She is excited to intern with The Manual London, an event production agency, and, as a self-proclaimed history buff, is looking forward to learning more about the U.K.’s history through her CEA CAPA coursework. While abroad, Veronica plans to explore London’s music scene, immerse herself in the local culture, find the city’s hidden gems, and keep a journal (in addition to her blog posts) to document all her experiences.
