Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad for the opportunity to explore new parts of the world and gain unique experiences! I chose to live in Galway, Ireland since through my research I determined it was the best destination for my major (English with Creative Writing emphasis).
WhAT IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
I'm hoping to make lifelong friends in Ireland that I can visit in the future after my program is over.
What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
I'm most looking forward to my creative writing-based classes since I'll get to collaborate with my peers and get feedback from a whole new set of people. In Ireland, I hope to learn new techniques and skills that I wouldn't back at my home university.
WHAT IS SOMETHING you're passionate and excited about?
I'm passionate about rock climbing, writing, and I'm excited to explore Galway! I really want to get better at poetry and start writing a lot more once I'm in Galway.
