WHAT'S ONE STORY OR IMPORTANT ASPECT YOU ALWAYS TELL PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR TIME ABROAD?
I will always share the story of how my internship supervisor asked me to come help with a special Champagne tasting event for an all female law firm in the heart of the city! I was able to help serve the Champagne as well as take pictures for the social media pages, and at the end, I got to talk to the amazing women who were super happy with how the event went. My supervisor and I were in the heart of London, in a high rise that had the most beautiful view of the Thames, the Tower of London, and Tower Bridge! It was such a surreal experience.

HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I was able to engage with the local community by going out and trying new things! I went to local music venues, where I got to talk to locals about music; I went to different theatres to watch plays and musicals and talked with the people around me during intermissions, and I was able to meet lots of great people through my internship that introduced me to some local places to eat!
